Oregon is fun in the winter! The snow has started falling in the mountains. Get out your snow boards, snow shoes and skis. Wildlife viewing, fishing, indoor and outside sports are available for you to embrace. Don't stop there... indoor amusement parks, parades, winter festivals, dancing, dining, wine tasting are also great fun during Oregon's winter months. As you embrace Oregon in the winter stay at one of the many wonderful bed and breakfast's.

Just because the winter is here in Oregon... You can still get outside and have fun! Take in a hockey game or go ice skating.

Gather your family and friends to have some fun at Mt Hood Meadows and Timberline.

Embrace winter birding. You never know if your are going to see ducks, hawks or other wintering birds.

Fishing for Winter Steelhead is a great experience. Oregon has many guide services that can help you catch the big one.

Oregon Region's

*The Coastal region has miles of Ocean beaches, open to the public. The Coastal Mountain Range offers wonderful outdoor experiences. Camping, hunting, fishing, hiking, biking, and boating are just a few of the adventures which you can embrace.

*Central Oregon has the high desert, volcanic lava beds and many snow capped mountains such as Mt Jefferson, Mt Bachelor, the Three Sisters, and Mt. Washington. There are many lakes and rivers to fish or canoe.  Places like the John Day Fossil Beds are fun for the whole family.

*Eastern Oregon is extremely diverse with scenery. Traveling this region will take you to the Columbia Plateau, the Blue Mountains, through the ponderosa pines, and across the alkali desert area. Exploring this region is a wonderful opportunity for observing farmland, wildlife, and natures miracles like; Hells Canyon, and the lofty Steen Mountains.

 

*The Portland region offers you the country life and the city. Diverse  with cultural attractions, restaurants, night life and outdoor experience. This region is surrounded with the beauty of mountains, rivers, lush forest and the largest city in Oregon.

*Southern Oregon is a region with thriving arts communities, wonderful natural wonders like the Crater Lake National Park and experiencing the landscape of the beautiful Klamath Falls basin. Enjoy wildlife, the outdoors and the quaint cities of this region.

*Mt Hood and The Columbia River Gorge region is very beautiful with the Columbia River, forests of Douglas fir trees, water falls that flow all year long. Outstanding year round sports offer great experience in windsurfing, all types of boating, water skiing, and snow sports.

*The Willamette Valley is a region with many outdoor activities, historic towns, covered bridges and fertile farmland. The Willamette Valley is  filled with family fun year round on the rivers, lakes, or at one of the many festivals and sports events.

 

There are many outdoor activities to embrace. Water sports are lots for fun fall as well as hiking, camping and festivals.
