Embracing Oregon in the spring is a great experience. Trees come alive with new leaves, many varieties of flowers peak through the soil to shower us with their beauty. The snow starts to melt in the lower mountain passes allowing easy access to hiking trails and spring camping. Lakes, rivers and waterfalls sparkle in the spring sunshine. Spring is a time for you to discover Oregon with all its events and activities like in the above photo's.  

Oregon Region's

*The Coastal region has miles of Ocean beaches, open to the public. The Coastal Mountain Range offers wonderful outdoor experiences. Coastal villages like Astoria have fun events for you to embrace. Camping, hunting, fishing, hiking, biking, and boating are just a few of the adventures which you can embrace.

*Central Oregon has high desert action, volcanic lava beds and many snow capped mountains such as Mt Jefferson, Mt Bachelor, the Three Sisters, and Mt. Washington. There are many lakes and rivers to fish, boat and canoe. Taking time to visit Crooked River Ranch is refreshing for everyone. Places like the John Day Fossil Beds are fun for the whole family.

*Eastern Oregon is extremely diverse with scenery. Traveling this region will take you to the Columbia Plateau, the Blue Mountains, through the ponderosa pines, and across the alkali desert area. Exploring this region is a wonderful opportunity for observing farmland, wildlife, and natures miracles like; Hells Canyon, and the lofty Steen Mountain. As you discover Eastern Oregon take the time to visit towns like: Sumpter, Oregon and learn about the great gold rush that took place in the area.

*The Portland region offers you the country life and the city. Diverse  with cultural attractions, restaurants, night life and outdoor experience. This region is surrounded with the beauty of mountains, rivers, lush forest and the largest city in Oregon. Mount Hood's Historic Timberline Lodge is a located in this region and is a hot spot in the spring as well as in the winter. In the city of Portland you will find fine foods, concerts and pro sports along with festivals like the famous Portland Rose Festival that happens in June each year.

*Southern Oregon is a region with thriving arts communities, wonderful natural wonders like the Crater Lake National Park and experiencing the landscape of the beautiful Klamath Falls basin. Enjoy wildlife, the outdoors and the quaint cities of this region. The Southern Oregon region not only has the inland mountains it also has coastal beaches. You will find cities like Reedsport for those great family get-a-ways. 

*Mt Hood and The Columbia River Gorge region is very beautiful with the Columbia River, forests of Douglas fir trees, water falls that flow  all year long. Outstanding year round sports offer great experience in windsurfing, all types of boating, water skiing, and snow sports. There are ghost towns like Shaniko, once the country's largest wool-shipping center. It is like stepping back in time.

*The Willamette Valley is a region with many outdoor activities, historic towns, covered bridges and fertile farmland. The Willamette Valley is filled with family fun year round on the rivers, lakes, or at one of the many festivals and sports events. This region is growing a large repetition for producing great wines. The Willamette Valley is close to the mountains, high desert and the Oregon coast. Cottage Grove, Oregon is a great place to visit. It has a wonderful covered bridge tour for you to embrace.
