It may be winter... But, there are things happening all around us. The vineyards are being prepped for spring's new growth of vines for 2018. As you can see the vineyard workers are out in the vineyards cutting back all the old growth keeping only a couple canes from last year.
Those canes are the fruiting canes for 2018. All the new vines will come from the fruiting canes that were saved.
Then we can look forward to spring and bud break.
